REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Registered Nurses are highly trained and experienced in caring for the patient in their home. The services of Nurses include but are not limited to: - Management and implementation of Physician Plan of Treatment - Interaction with patient’s family/caregiver regarding patient care - Evaluate patient and communicate to physician regarding changes in patient’s condition - Teach and train patient and family/caregiver how to manage treatment regimen PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT)
Physical Therapists use the latest techniques and equipment to assist the patient to achieve the most complete possible recovery in the shortest period of time. The services of Physical Therapists include but are not limited to: - Assess patient’s needs by objective tests and measurements - Assist patient with therapeutic exercises - Gait training - Coordinate physical therapy with home health professionals HOME HEALTH AIDE
The services of Home Health Aides include but are not limited to: - Assist patient in meeting personal hygiene needs - Prepare meals and assist with eating (if necessary) - Provide some household services necessary for healthcare at home - Assist with medications that are ordinarily self-administered - Assist patient with ambulation using proper body mechanics - Assist with routine maintenance exercises ATTENDANT

LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE (LVN)
Licensed Vocational Nurses are highly trained and experienced in caring for the patient in their home. The services of Nurses include but are not limited to: - Management and implementation of Physician Plan of Treatment - Interaction with patient’s family/caregiver regarding patient care - Evaluate patient and communicate to physician regarding changes in patient’s condition - Teach and train patient and family/caregiver how to manage treatment regimen SPEECH THERAPIST (ST)
Speech Pathologists work with patients diagnosed as having problems with speech, memory, audiology, and swallowing disorders. The services of Speech Pathologists include but are not limited to: - Assess patient’s rehabilitation needs with regards to speech and language disorders - Assist to improve patient’s ability to independently carry out communicative activities - Coordinate with patient’s physician for the plan of treatment - Instruct patient, family or caregiver in therapeutic procedures MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER (MSW)
Medical Social Workers meet with the patient and family/caregiver and help them to make adjustments to the impact of illness. The services of Medical Social Workers include but are not limited to: - Assess social and emotional factors related to patient’s illness - Provide information about community resources available for patient - Assess patient’s psychological needs and communicate with home health professionals - Assess relationship of patient’s medical and nursing requirements to the individual’s home situation - Assist in helping the patient reach independence HOME HEALTH MEDICAL BILLER
MEDICAL BILLER who has experience in Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private insurance in home health. Position is in the Mesquite office. |
